Take note, many dealers in china and overseas try to capture market share of NGC bullion panda which price has been reducing significantly vs previous years despite silver spot up.

In fact the first day issue which you can get around 60usd per pieces or lower if by PayPal gift.

It might be a good bet.

I am not sure anyone of you notice that the Gold panda NGC slab yet to show up in ebay vs silver.

As told by those main dealers who grade both silver and gold panda to sell yearly that they not willing to grade the gold panda since the gold spot is high. This means they need to layout more cash in buying the gold panda coin vs 2019 & 2018. The margin is lean so many decide not to invest into it. Thus, not many gold panda coin been graded and ready for sell.

I do not see any First day issue gold panda by China dealers. However dealer might do it.

Andy, I have noticed also that the prices on the 2020 silver pandas have gone up $5-$6 dollars versus the 2019 prices. I realise silver has gone up in price since last year, but not that much. Could price increases be because of the uncertainty of the tariffs? I usually buy from a USA company that has a presale, but so far no presale prices. Mcm & some other bullion places are having presales, but the prices are way up. Also, I notice that the prices for recent pandas (2017, 2018 & 2019) do not reflect these higher prices like the 2020. Is this a temporary buying opportunity for some of the older pandas?

Likely USA dealers worry of tariffs and much uncertainties of the tariffs legislation on coins.

It is opportunity to buy 17,18 & 19 if price is low in USA because the actual minted might be low as cited by Peter Anthony.

It always depend on your portfolio and risk sizes too.
